Obituary of Paul F DuCom, Jr.

Paul Francois DuCom, Jr., 86, died Thursday, August 12, 2021 at McCoy Nursing Facility in Bishopville. Born in Sumter, he was a son of the late Paul Francois DuCom, Sr. and Mildred Ramsey DuCom. Mr. DuCom was a member of The Church of the Holy Comforter. He was a local business owner having operated several businesses during his lifetime in Sumter. He leaves behind four children, Shan DuCom (Tully Mark Moye) of St. Simons Island, GA, Paul F. DuCom, III (Sylvia) of Rock Hill, SC, Alyce Mellette DuCom Dobson of St. Simons Island, GA and Rett S. DuCom (Natalie) of Sumter; a sister, Mary Brent Cantarutti (Lido) of San Rafael, CA; four grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Burial will be private at Greenhaven Preserve in Eastover, SC.
