Obituary of Edward Keith Floyd

Edward Keith Floyd, 49, died Monday, August 9, 2021, in Columbia. Born in Columbus, GA, he was a son of Edward Floyd and Betty Sue Lyons Floyd. Mr. Floyd was a member of New Start Community Church of the Nazarene. He was a retired U. S. Army Desert Storm veteran. Surviving are his parents of Sumter; two sons, Justin and Collin Floyd; a daughter, Sarah Floyd; a brother, Wesley Floyd (Tracey); two nephews, Ethan and Dylan Floyd. Funeral Services will be held at 1 P.M. Friday at New Start Community Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Donna Greene officiating. Burial will follow in the New Start Community Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Wallace, Douglas and Tony Anderson, Gary and Brad Simpson and Jeffrey Floyd. The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M. Friday at the New Start Community Church of the Nazarene and other times at the home, 4385 Bush Branch Road, Sumter. Memorials may be sent to the New Start Community Church of the Nazarene, 4686 J.
