Obituary of Stephanie Marie Donald

Stephanie Marie Buhse Donald, 39, died Monday, August 30, 2021, at her home after a courageous battle with Malignant Melanoma. Born in Long Beach, CA, she was a daughter of Ronald and Sandra Buhse. Stephanie was a member of Wedgefield Baptist Church. She graduated from Lakewood High school where she was student body president, played soccer, cheered, and ran cross country. She fulfilled her childhood dream of being a school teacher. She had Bachelor’s degree from North Greenville and Master’s degree from Converse. Over the past 17 years she has taught at many middle and high schools in NC and SC, most recently at Sumter High. She also coached soccer and cross country at multiple schools. She is survived by her parents Ron and Sandy; her children, whom she loved dearly, Clara, Logan and Leighton Donald and their father Ryan Donald; sisters, Tracy Boykin (Michael), Loren Buhse (Amanda); a niece, Breanna Boykin (Chase Lee) and a nephew, Whitley Boykin; grandfather, John A. Hodge; numerous loving aunts, uncles and cousins; special friends, Dana Boykin, Chris Benenhaley, Randra Fuller and many more. Private family services will be held with the Rev. Paul Goff, Jr. officiating. Friends are invited to livestream services at 11 am on Wednesday Sept. 1st, 2021, at livestream under her obituary at Elmore Hill McCreight’s funeral home website.
