Obituary of Paula Stafford Wright

Paula Stafford Wright, 74, widow of the late Fred Wright, died Thursday, November 11, 2021 at her home in Sumter. Born in Sumter, she was a daughter of Mendel S. and Pauline Smith Stafford. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church. She retired as an office supervisor at Prisma Tuomey Hospital in Sumter. She is survived by her brother, Mendel S. Stafford, Jr. (Judy) of Atlanta, GA; 2 step-children, Dennis Wright and Deanna Wright of Alabama; 6 step-grandchildren and numerous cousins. A funeral service will be held at 2 P.M. Wednesday at Grace Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Steve Williams and Rev. Steve Shumake officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.
