Obituary of Henry Michael Miles

Henry Michael Miles, Sr., 69, husband of Joyce Ann Coulter Miles, died Saturday, December 18, 2021, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital. Born in Timmonsville, SC, he was a son of the late Henry Preston Miles and Addie Lynette Lee Miles. Mr. Miles was a retired truck driver with Cedar Creek Timber. Surviving are his wife of Sumter; three daughters, Elizabeth Lynn McCutcheon (Kevin) of Lake City, SC, Penny Springs (Teddy) of Rocky Mountain, VA, and Erica Boland (Kevin) of Sumter; two sons, Henry Michael Miles, Jr. of Pamplico, Frankie Shirah (Bambi) of Sumter; two sisters, Ruth “Susie” Miles, Joyce Yarborough (William); one brother, David Ray Miles; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one grandchild, Chrisen Allen and one brother, Timothy Miles. Funeral Services will be held at 1 P.M. Thursday at the Bible Way Holiness Church, 16 Thomas Drive with Rev. Brent Thigpen officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 P.M. to 1 P.M. Thursday at the Bible Way Holiness Church prior to the service. Burial will follow at Aimwell Cemetery in Pamplico. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bible Way Holiness Church.
