Obituary of Thomas Walter "Tommy" Anderson, Jr.

Thomas Walter “Tommy” Anderson, Jr., 71, died Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital. Born September 19, 1950, in Sumter, he was a son of the late Thomas Walter Anderson, Sr. and Katie Mae Lee Anderson. Mr. Anderson was previously employed as a sign painter. Surviving are two brothers, Terry Anderson (Debbie) and Elvis Anderson (Lottie); four sisters, Catherine Geddings (Richard), Gail Roberts (O’dell), Brenda Kay McInnis (Ken), Theresa Phillips all of Sumter; a daughter, Candy Remington (Richard) of Clements, CA; a son, Mitchell Anderson of Elk Grove, CA; two grandchildren, Alexis and Tatum; one great-grandson, Bentley. He was predeceased by a brother, Randy Anderson. Private services will be held at a later date.
