Obituary of Mrs. Clifford Ann Schmidt

Clifford Ann “Click” Brunson Schmidt, 89, widow of Gerald Charles “Jerry” Schmidt, died Monday, March 14, 2022, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital. Born in Summerton, she was a daughter of the late Clifton Brunson and Madeline Clark Brunson. Mrs. Schmidt was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church. She was a retired insurance broker with Moise, Moses & Harby Insurance Company. Surviving are a daughter, Carol Buie (Adrian); a son, Michael Schmidt; a brother, Don Brunson (Lindy); four grandchildren, Christopher Schmidt of Seattle, WA, Jessica Schmidt of Sumter, A. Alexander “Sasha” Buie stationed in Japan, and William “Zhenia” Buie of Newport, NC. She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. Funeral Services will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday at St. Anne Catholic Church with Father German Coquilla, Jr. CRM officiating. Burial will be in the St. Lawrence Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M.
