Obituary of Nettie Louise Weatherford

Nettie Louise Weatherford, 78, died Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at Blue Ridge of Sumter. Born in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Henry Tredwell Ward and Louise Avin Ward. Mrs. Weatherford was a member of Westside Baptist Church and was a former clerk at Liberty Package Shop. Surviving are a son, Daniel Todd Weatherford of Sumter; a daughter, Sherry Christine Belk (Bobby) of Sumter; a brother, Mac Ward of Sumter; three sisters, Mary Geddings, Beverly Gagne, and Gloria Miller all of Sumter; a daughter-in-law, Andrea Weatherford of Sumter; 12 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and her former husband, William Terry Weatherford of Cassatt. She was preceded in death by a son, William Craig Weatherford; two brothers, Joseph Edward Ward and Thomas Daniel Ward. Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday in the Chapel of the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with Rev. Aaron Reed officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M.
