Obituary of Brenda Ann Knotts

Brenda Ann Evans Knotts, 71, died Monday, July 18, 2022, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital. Born in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Julius Evans and Elise Grooms Evans. Mrs. Knotts was a retired employee of Exide Battery Company and also an employee of Cottle Farms for many years. Surviving is a son, Tommy Hyatt (Janet Whitton), a brother, Wayne Evans; two sisters, Diane Evans and Betty McLeod; three grandchildren, Racheal Whitton, Ashton Scott, MaKayla Scott; a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by a brother, Rusty Evans. Graveside services will be held at 2 P.M. Thursday in the Brewington Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the graveside service.
