Obituary of Wade Albert Payne, III

Wade Albert Payne, III, 53, husband of Anna Hodge Payne, died Friday, November 11, 2022, at his home. Born in Sumter, he was a son of Wade Albert “Al” Payne, Jr. and Lila Broughton Payne. Mr. Payne was a member of Concord Presbyterian Church and the owner of Wade Payne Communications. He was a 1987 graduate of Thomas Sumter Academy and of Winthrop University. He was a U. S. Army veteran. Surviving are his wife; his parents; a son, Wade Albert Payne, IV; a daughter, Aubrey Elise Payne all of Sumter; a sister, Stacy Martin (Brent) of Fort Mill, SC; two nieces, Ansley Ard, Laura Kirby; two nephews, Walker Ard (Amiee), Daniel Kirby; numerous cousins; loyal friends, brothers of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity and his dog, Tillman. Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Monday in Concord Presbyterian Church with Rev. Jon Beane and Rev. Lane McIntyre officiating. Burial will follow in the Concord Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
