Olline R. Hopson, 84, widow of John Eugene Hopson, died Saturday, January 21, 2023.
Born in War Eagle, WV, she was a daughter of the late Preston Roberts and Pearl Holderfield Roberts.
Surviving are two daughters, Nira Daniels (Donald Hinkle) and Donna Lester (Wayne Mosley) of Sumter; a son, John Terry Hopson (Jen) of Princeton, WV; four grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Bill M. Roberts; one sister, Linda P. Nickells both of Sumter.
She was preceded in death by 9 brothers and sisters.
The family would like to thank Prisma Health Tuomey Hospice staff for their care of Mrs. Hopson.
The family will receive friends Tuesday 1-3 PM at Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home.
