Vickie and I were so saddened to hear that Uncle Bobby had passed on to be with Jesus and all his family that have gone on before him. We will always treasure the times we shared with him, laughing so hard our faces would hurt! What a wonderful, kind and happy man he was. He will surely be missed, but he wouldn't come back here for anything! We loved him very much. Our sympathies and prayers are with Aunt Helen and the family. I've attached a picture of Thomas, Bobby and Allen having fun at a 1981 reunion. Much love to all...Don and Vickie Kolb

So sorry to hear the news. Suzette and I now live just around the corner from Baldwin Drive and reminisce about all of Bob’s sayings, like, “nite nite now.” What a special character and best of all a true friend to all. Jay Britton

How grateful I am to have had this wonderful man, uncle Bob, in my life. He was always the same with a smile, a hug, and a heart of gold. He will always be missed. With loving memories.

Mr Finley was always poking fun and making us all laugh. He had such a special way of making everyone feel special and seen. Just a jolly Christ-filled soul that made Greg and I feel welcome as we moved to Sumter way back in the 80’s and as we raised our children at FBC . Jan, you are a blessed daughter ❤️

Mr. Bob was a great man. I got to know him and Ms. Helen when I was part of First Baptist Church. Mr. Bob always had that tight handshake. I also liked his jokes he told. Rest easy my friend.
