Obituary of Carson Ray Benenhaley

Carson Ray Benenhaley, 77, husband of Connie Sue Powell Benenhaley, died Thursday, May 18, 2023, at his home. Born in Dalzell, he was a son of the late George D. Benenhaley and Lillian Ray Benenhaley. Mr. Benenhaley was a member of Springbank Baptist Church and he was retired from the SC Highway Department. Surviving are his wife of the home; two step-children, James Platt (Shannon) of Manning and Theresa Whitty (Ken) of Dalzell. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Thomas Benenhaley, Claude Benenhaley, James Benenhaley and Kenny Benenhaley. Graveside services will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday, June 8, 2023, at Springbank Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Steve Miller officiating. Memorials may be made to Springbank Baptist Church, 5725 Fish Road, Dalzell, SC 29040.
