Obituary of Marian a'Lexia Wiggins

Marian a’Lexia Pitts Kirkley Wiggins, 78, wife of Daniel A. Wiggins, Sr., died Thursday, July 13, 2023, at her home. Born in Florence, she was a daughter of the late Alexander Pitts and Marian Juanita Andrews Pitts. Mrs. Wiggins was a member of The Church of Ascension at Hagood. She was raised at Holy Comforter Church of Sumter and baptized by the late Rev. James B. Walker. She is survived by her husband, Daniel A. Wiggins, Sr. of 48 years; her children, Maria Kirkley Hudgins (Richard) of Calhoun, GA, Robert E. Kirkley, Jr. (Tiffany) of Woodstock, GA, Daniel A. Wiggins, Jr. (Nancy) of Summerville, SC, David Sterling (Marian) of Orlando, FL, Suzanne Q. Nolin of TX, Alicia Victoria Wiggins of Lakeland, FL and Randall Corcoran (Brooke) of Seattle, WA; 11 grandchildren, and a sister, Jacqueline Jureck of Sumter, SC. She was preceded in death by her sister, Elizabeth Riley. Funeral Services will be held at 2 P.M. Sunday at The Church of Ascension at Hagood with Rev. Joel Osborne officiating.
