Obituary of Barbara Lou Hensley

Barbara Lou Hensley, 77, died Monday, July 17, 2023, at McLeod Health Clarendon Hospital. Born in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Clyde Jackson Hensley and Mamie DuBose Hensley. She was a resident of Trinity 3, a home operated by the Clarendon DSNB, where she received loving care for decades. Miss Hensley was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Sumter. She is survived by numerous DuBose cousins who fondly remember her engaging personality and sweet disposition. Graveside services will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday, July 20, 2023, at Hebron Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Rev. Bob Brearley officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 9 W.
