Carol was my first cousin, and I have vivid memories of her taking care of me as a little girl. As I grew older, we shared so many stories about our family place at Edisto, the place we both loved with all our hearts, and about our family history. Carol knew so much about our great aunts and uncles, and she loved telling the stories that brought back so many wonderful adventures. To Dean and Glenn, your mother was a lovely lady who was very much loved, and I'm grateful that she and I shared the same family.
