Obituary of Allen Norman Frey

Allen Norman Frey, 53, died Monday, October 2, 2023, at his home. Born January 18, 1970, at Shaw Air Force Base in Sumter, he was a son of the late Raymond Frey and Shirley Sims Frey. He attended Shiloh Pentecostal Holiness Church. Surviving are a son, Michael “Drew” Kirby of Lake City; three aunts, Jane Brown, Joane Rivers and Stella Shaw; an uncle, Patrick Sims; two cousins who were like a brothers, Joe Sims and Roy Sims, Jr.; and several other cousins. Services will be private. Memorials may be made to the family in care of Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home and Crematory, 221 Broad Street, Sumter, SC 29150 to help with funeral expenses.
