Obituary of Elizabeth "Beth" McFaddin Byce

Elizabeth “Beth” McFaddin Byce, 61, died Thursday, December 14, 2023, in Simpsonville, SC. Born in Sumter, she was a daughter of Sylvia “Sibbie” Murrell McFaddin and the late Hugh Frank McFaddin. Mrs. Byce was a member of John Knox Presbyterian Church in Greenville, SC. She was a graduate of Wilson Hall School and Furman University. Beth was a loving daughter and mother. Surviving along with her mother of Sumter; is a son, Kent McFaddin Byce of Simpsonville, SC and a daughter, Elizabeth Byce Richardson (Caleb) of Clemson, SC; a brother, Mike McFaddin (Pam) of North Augusta, SC. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 P.M. Thursday, December 21, 2023, at John Knox Presbyterian Church in Greenville, SC. Graveside services will be held at 2 P.M. Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at the Sardinia-Gable Cemetery with Rev. Brian Peake officiating.
