Please except my deepest heartfelt condolescences for the loss of Cindy. I just learned of your passing. I shared a program with your church family on Tuesday as we rememberd you in prayer. God has called home another public servant and you have joined His heavenly throne. You will truly be missed. How grateful the women of Sumter were to have you bring Vacation Bible School Women's Ministry to Sumter in July. What a blessinig. Your memory will live all in our hearts. I know God ushered you in with "Well done, my good and faithful servant". Blessings, Grace, and Love to your family. Godspeed... Patty Jaye, Wendell, and Anastasia Blessings, Grace, and Godspeed..

I worked with Cindy at DHEC. When my disability started getting so that I was having to consider earlier retirement because I was not able to perform at the level I should have. Cindy went out of her way to find physical resources to help me do my job better. For example, a chair that I could get in and out of better. After we both retired and she was having health problems also, she would periodically send me cards with messages to inspire me and lift my spirits. I kept a couple of these and they inspire me now. Cindy was one of the purest souls I ever knew, always thinking of others.

Our most heartfelt condolences to all the family and friends of Cindy Timmons. We loved her very much. Even though she was not part of our family, she treated us like she was. Our oldest daughter will never forget her. Cindy went to almost all of Abby's concerts and was always a huge support and encourager for her. She really was Abigail's true friend and a special "Barnabas" type Christian sister. We all remember how when we first came to Crosswell Baptist Church it was Cindy Timmons and her mother who went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Abby said of her, "I want to be just like Cindy Timmons to everyone I meet." Indeed, there really aren't enough kind words to say about Cindy. She was truly an example of Christ-like love and compassion. Her light shined brightly everywhere she went. And it still shines today. We love you Cindy. Thank God and thank you for being a part of our lives.

Cindy was a beautiful, special, and rare woman. A blessing to so many. She was always so full of life as I remember her from our class days at TSA and thankful we had a chance to reconnect this past year through ministry. She leaves a humble legacy for us all. To God be the glory for the race well run.

Cindy was the greatest person I knew. 50 + years from a young girl until now she proved to be the most caring, thoughtful, honest, hard working, faithful , compassionate and the list goes on. I call her the glue. She had a gift of not only keeping herself connected with the old and new she kept everyone else connected. Jean, Benny, Rich and Will thank you for sharing your loving , proud, amazing daughter and mother. She wil be truly missed. My love and prayers go out to you ????
