Obituary of Gregory Wayne Seegers

Gregory Wayne Seegers, 51, died Friday, April 19, 2024, in North Charleston. Born in Charleston, he is a son of Debbie Lynn Riles Seegers and the late Roger Allen Seegers, Sr. Mr. Seegers was employed as a construction worker. Surviving are his mother of Sumter; a brother, Donny Seegers of Charleston, SC; a sister, Christy Shaw (Jonathan) of Pelion, SC; two sons, Tommy Smith (Patricia) of Charleston, SC and Michael Lynch of Dallas, TX; two grandchildren, Amelia and Gabriel Smith; and his wife of 17 years, Lisa Reid Seegers of Bonfield, Ill. He was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Allen “Bubba” Seegers, Jr. The family will receive friends from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. Friday at the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home. The family will have a gathering following the visitation to remember Gregory.
