Obituary of Martha Virginia Haithcock

Martha Virginia Euten Haithcock, 70, widow of James Thomas Haithcock, died Friday, April 26, 2024, at her home. Born in Eastover, she was a daughter of the late Henry Lawrence Euten and Alice Nesbitt Euten. Surviving is a son, Jerry Haithcock (Ada) of Sumter; two daughters, Jennifer Sims (Patrick) and Jackie Webster (Mark) both of Sumter; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Chad Haithcock; two brothers, Johnny Euten and Jimmy Euten; a sister, Betty Lee; and a granddaughter, Tiffany Bass. The family will receive friends from 4 P.M. to 6 P.M. Sunday at the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home and other times at the home of her daughter, 3795 Lorene Drive.
