Someone once said, "That your story may not be told in the way you think it should be told. Yet God knows your story." Such is the case with my dear friend and former pastor, Bro. Wesly Millard. God and everyone whose lives he touched will forever remember this humble man who gave his life to glorify his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. His love for the people he pastored was always evident both in and out of the pulpit. Bro. Millard was the real deal. I will be forever blessed by the way he mentored and loved me as a person while I was a member of Victory Baptist Chruch. Thank you for all that you taught me and always pointing me in the right direction. Mrs. Millard, his sweet wife, is a classic example of grace, dignity, strength, and propriety. Her love and respect for her husband was always on display whenever they were together. Their children can rise up and call them blessed. The day of your homegoing did not garner the attention of the world. Yet all of heaven rejoiced when you walked through those pearly gates into the presence of God and was reunited with your loved ones. Your story was never told in the major media outlets around the world. But yes indeed, God and those of us who love and miss you know your story and will be forever blessed for having known it. Dear friend, I love you and miss you and I am looking forward to seeing you again in heaven. Friends forever. Bro. Jad Terrebonne
