Obituary of Millie Katzenberger

Mildred “Millie” Pauline Katzenberger, 78, died Thursday, September 5, 2024, at McLeod Regional Medical Center. Born in Geneva, AL, she was a daughter of the late Randall J. Cheshire and Pauline Davis Cheshire. Mrs. Katzenberger was a former FTC telephone operator and retired from the NCO Club at Shaw Air Force Base. Surviving is a son, James H. “Jimbo” Coulter of Sumter; a daughter, Angela Pauline Cockerill of Manning; three grandchildren, Shaughn D. Cockerill (Jessica), Joe E. Cockerill, and Madison Alexis McCoy; four great-grandchildren; a sister, L. Cissy McLeod; a brother, James F. Cheshire. She was preceded in death by a brother, David “Bubba” Cheshire.
