Obituary of Sara Yount Nichols

Sara Yount Nichols, 85, widow of Earl Bruce Nichols, died Monday, September 23, 2024. Born in Hollywood, Florida, she was a daughter of the late Noah David Yount and Rena Bertie Simmons Yount. Mrs. Nichols was a retired elementary school teacher. Surviving are two sons, Rev. Daniel Bruce Nichols (Shannon) of Blythewood and David R. Nichols of Knightdale, NC; one brother, John David Yount (Geiger) of Duluth, MN; and four grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Angela Nichols. Memorial services will be held at 5:30 P.M. Friday, October 4, 2024, at Crossings Community Church in Columbia, SC. The family will receive friends immediately following each service.
