Mellissa Bryant Jellerson, 44, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, March 20, 2016.
Born in Sumter, October 8, 1971, she was a daughter of Sydney Bryant and Nancy Griffin Polanco.
Mellissa graduated from Furman High School and was employed with Becton-Dickinson until becoming disabled.
Surviving are her mother and stepfather, Vincent Polanco of Sumter; her father and (Karen) of Lexington; a daughter, Cierra “Nikki” Keels (Jake) of Alcolu; a sister, Hope Avins (Tim) of Jackson, SC; a granddaughter, Tatum Grace Keels; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a nephew, Michael Morris; and her former husband, Michael Jellerson.
Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday at Green Acres Assembly of God Church with Rev. Michael Bowman officiating.
Burial will be in Green Acres Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Joseph Keels, Wayne Allsbrooks, Travis Steele, D. J. Griffin, Dakota Jordan and Christopher Avins.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday at the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home and other times at the home.
