Obituary of Patti Arnette Warren Blanding

Patti “Patsy” Arnette Warren Blanding, 91, widow of Leon McFaddin Blanding, died Thursday, November 12, 2015, at the Tuomey Regional Medical Center.
Born in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Warren and Minnie Hyman Warren.
Mrs. Blanding was a member of First Baptist Church, the Faith Sunday School Class and was a former teacher of the five-year old Sunday School class. She was a huge supporter of the SPCA and was a former Girls Scout leader at First Presbyterian Church. She was a retired civil service employee at Shaw Air Force Base and was the former owner and operator of The Shop for Pappagallo in Sumter.
Surviving are one son, Wesley McFaddin Blanding (JhoAnn) of Sumter; two daughters, Tricia Rutledge (Hugh) of Tarpon Springs, FL and Beth Keetch (retired Col. Greg Keetch) of Mt. Pleasant; one brother, Paul Warren of Orlando, FL; one sister, Dorothy Goodman of Atlanta, GA; five grandchildren, Wesley McFaddin Blanding, Jr. (Deana), Caroline Blanding, Warren Rutledge, Beth Rutledge and Grey Keetch (Albina); three great-grandchildren, Tyson Rutledge, Hadley Blanding and Myers Blanding.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Warren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday at First Baptist Church with Rev. Dan Barber officiating.
Burial will be in the Sumter Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. Friday at the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home and other times at 2889 Porcher Drive.
