Obituary of Wanda S. Grimsley

Wanda Scott Grimsley, 74, widow of Donald Edmon Grimsley, died Wednesday, March 30, 2016 after a brief battle with cancer, at NHC. Born in Greensboro, NC, on December 17, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Maude Scott. Mrs. Grimsley was a native of Greensboro, NC. Wanda was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother who will be dearly missed. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. She is survived by a daughter, Donna Grimsley Mizelle (Stuart) of Sumter; a brother, Steve Scott of Randleman, NC; a sister, Charlene Scott Foushee of Burlington, NC; three grandchildren, Erin, Katelyn, and Micah Mizelle. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Westminster Presbyterian Church with the Reverend Drew Taylor officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. A graveside service will be held Sunday April 3rd at 2pm at Guilford Memorial Park, in Greensboro, NC.
