Madame Gregoire taught me French at SHS from 1983 to 1986. I loved that she tried to make learning French fun by doing things like teaching us folk songs and Christmas carols, several of which I still remember. Although she was a strict teacher, she was also very kind and truly cared about us. She was also very perceptive. I remember her pulling me aside one day after class because she recognized I was having a hard time dealing with a personal issue. She was compassionate and listened, and not once did she trivialize what, at the time, was a very big deal to me. I am thankful for her kindness and will always remember her fondly.

Lifetime memories of a great high school French teacher. I was able to skip the first two years of French in college because of her French classes in high school. May her soul rest in peace and her family find solace in knowing others are prayerful for them.

Miss Gregoire was one of those teachers that you remember long after high school. She was my French teacher and made class fun and interesting which I imagine was not easy with a room full of teenagers. God speed to a truly remarkable teacher.
