Obituary of Michael Paul Tennant

Michael Paul Tennant, 31, died Sunday, January 22, 2017, at Palmetto Health Tuomey Hospital. Born in Benson, NC, he was a son of Jerry Tennant and Mary Strickland Tennant. Surviving are his parents of Sumter; two brothers, Raymond Tennant and fiancé Michelle, Jerry Tennant Jr. and fiancé Sheryce; a sister, Mary Gladden and husband Anthony all of Sumter; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 3 P.M. Wednesday in the Chapel of the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with Rev. Lynwood Collins officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 P.M. Wednesday at the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home.
