Obituary of Edith Hollene Browning

Edith Hollene Bayless Browning, 95, widow of Millard Ernest Browning, died Saturday, February 18, 2017, at a local nursing center. Born in Lorado, West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late George Bayless and Irene McCoy Bayless. Mrs. Browning was a charter member of the Cosmopolitan Club and a volunteer with the American Red Cross. She was a former employee of the Logan Banner Newspaper in Logan, West Virginia. Surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Thurmond Bayless, Elisha Bayless and Ronald Bayless, Sr.; two sisters, Elsie Beckett and Faye Ragsdale. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday in the Florence National Cemetery.
