Gary Lewis Jeffreys, 50, died Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Palmetto Health Tuomey.
Born in Sumter, he was a son of Marilyn Jayroe Jeffreys and the late Bill Jeffreys.
Mr. Jeffreys was a retired commercial fisherman.
Surviving are his mother of Sumter; one son, Landon Jeffreys (Breanna) of Sumter; one daughter, Carla Wagner of Columbia; one brother, Kevin Jayroe of Sumter; and four grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 3 P.M. Saturday in the Chapel of the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Holley officiating.
The family will receive friends at the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home following the memorial service.
