Alton LeGrand Springs, 85, widow of Willie Jean Poole Springs, died Saturday, March 4, 2017, at McElveen Manor.
Born in Coward, SC, he was a son of the late Clen Springs and Bertha Leola Broach Springs.
Mr. Springs was of the Pentecostal faith. He was a U. S. Army veteran of Korea and retired from Campbell Soup Company.
Surviving are two sisters, Ruby Nichols of Sumter and Shirley Feagin of Mt. Pleasant; a brother, Hoyt Springs of Lake City.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna K. Springs.
Graveside services will be held at 2 P.M. Tuesday at Bethesda Cemetery in Cades, SC with Rev. Carl Lavender officiating.
