Obituary of Agnes Edge Stavrou

Agnes Edge Stavrou, 86, widow of William D. Stavrou, died Sunday, April 16, 2017, at National Healthcare Center in Sumter. Born in Socastee, SC, she was a daughter of the late William Brode Edge and Tempie Ricks Edge. Mrs. Stavrou was a retired Counselor at Shoreline Behavorial Health Services. Surviving are a son, Dr. William Strat Stavrou and his wife Janice Guess Stavrou of Sumter; two daughters, Kelley S. McMillan and her husband Chip McMillan of Sumter, Diane S. Eliason of Myrtle Beach; eight grandchildren, William Strat Stavrou, Jr. and his wife Emily Ardis Stavrou, Cauthen Stavrou, Jackson Stavrou, Hugh J. McMillan and his wife Mollie K. McMillan, Matthew S. McMillan, Edward B. McMillan, William C. Gillis, II and his wife Tara Vorodi Gillis, and Alyson L. Eliason; three great-grandchildren, Liza Stavrou, Will Stavrou, and Kate Stavrou. She was preceded in death by a son, Daniel P. Stavrou. The family will receive friends at the home of her daughter Kelley and Chip McMillan, 2874 Lillington Drive from 5 to 7 P.M. Thursday, April 20, 2017 and also on Saturday, April 29th from 2 to 4 P.M. at McMillan-Small Funeral Home, 910 67th Avenue North, Myrtle Beach, SC.
