Obituary of Evelyn Elizabeth Driggers

Evelyn Elizabeth Walling DeWitt Driggers, 82, died Monday, May 8, 2017, at Blue Ridge of Sumter.

 

Born in Walterboro, she was a daughter of the late Laurie Walling and Lila Pearl Walling.

 

Mrs. Driggers was twice married first to the late Enos DeWitt and later to the late LaVonne Driggers. 

 

Mrs. Driggers was a retired seamstress.

 

Surviving are three daughters, Emmaline Frierson and Martha Faye Bryant both of Manning and Dianne Douglas of Sumter; two sisters, Emma Blocker of Charleston and Mary Johnson of Walterboro; one brother, Charles Walling of Sumter.

 

Graveside services will be held at 4 P.M. Wednesday at Green Acres Cemetery with Rev. David Richardson officiating.

 

The family will receive friends following the service.
