John Wilson Robinson, 76, husband of Donna Jones Robinson, died Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at the VA Medical Center in Charleston.

 

Born in Manning, he was a son of the late Preston Robinson and Harriett Bryant Robinson.

 

Mr. Robinson was retired from Santee Print Works.  He was a U. S. Army Vietnam veteran.

 

Surviving are his wife of Sumter; two sons, Scott Robinson of TN and Shannon Robinson (Rose) of Charleston, SC; a brother, Julian Baird of Johnsonville, SC and three grandchildren.

 

Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday in the Chapel of the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with Rev. Gene Gilbert officiating.

 

The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 A.M. Saturday at the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home.
