Obituary of Mildred Butler Scott

Mildred Elizabeth Hall Butler Scott, 84, widow of Thomas William Scott, died Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Palmetto Health Tuomey.

 

Born in Norfolk, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late William Frederick Hall and Laura Etheridge Hall.

 

Mrs. Scott was twice married, first to the late Harold L. Butler.

 

Surviving are one son, Harold L. Butler and wife Mary of Sumter; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild

 

She was preceded in death by a son, William Frederick Hall Butler and a daughter, Charlene Butler Brandon.

 

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery with Susan Price officiating.
