The loss of a cherished loved one is the most devastating experiences a family can face. At times, the loss may seem unbearable. Please know that there are family and friends who care and more importantly Psalm 34:18 tells us that "God is near to those that are broken at heart. He is the God of all comfort. God will comfort you during this difficult time of grief. Our prayers are also with you and your family.

Dear Gail and Family--
We are so sorry about the passing of your mother. She was a good neighbor, a great friend, and an
outstanding public servant. Few public servants demonstrate the dedication to their job that she
demonstrated during her many years as coroner and as deputy coroner. Kindness, sympathy,
empathy, and patience were her watchwords. I used to tell her that I always could tell if someone
had died during the night; when I went out to get the paper, usually about 5 o'clock in the morning,
if I did not see her car in the driveway, I knew that duty had called during the night.
All of you have our sincerest sympathy. The community will miss her very much.

To the family,
My heartfelt condolences on the loss of your loved one. Losing someone you love so dearly is very hard, but please find comfort and hope in the words at Psalm 34:18 and 2 Corinthians 1:3,4. May you also cherish the memories you shared together as they too bring much needed comfort.

I am so sorry for your loss. I am sure this must be a difficult time for you and your family. At 1Corithians 15:26, our Heavenly Father expresses how he feels about death, calling death an enemy, which will be destroyed. So until that promise is fullfilled, please find comfort in God's word the Bible as we look forward to the day when you will be reunited with your dear mother in the promised resurrection. (John 5:28,29, Revelation 21:3,4 and Acts 24:15)

Dear Gail and family,
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your precious momma. I have so many memories of being at your house when we were teenagers. She never fussed that it seemed that I was always there. In 2007 when my mother died, it comforted me that your mother was still working as coroner. She was so very sweet to me and comforted me. She was so proud of you and your accomplishments.
I will be praying for you and your family in the coming days for God to comfort each of you as only He can. I wish I could be there.
Much love to you and yours,
Ellen Mathis-Campbell

Dear Gail and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. Although I did not get to know her, I am certain that she must have been a caring and wonderful person because she raised you. In your moments of sorrow and loss, remember she will always be a part of you. Spend some of your coming days in remembrance of all those good times you shared with her, as well as some of those "teachable moments" too. I believe that as time goes on, when you pass by and look into a mirror, you will come to find that the best qualities of your mom are still with you. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and all of your loved ones that, in time, you will find comfort, peace, and an even deeper connection.
