Obituary of Joseph Wylie Ham

Joseph Wylie Ham, 78, husband of Marilyn Winkles Ham, died Sunday, October 8, 2017 at Palmetto Health Tuomey.

Born in Bishopville, he was a son of the late Raymond Spain Ham and Ottie Lloyd Brunson.

Mr. Ham was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church.  He was retired from Sherwin-Williams Paint Company.

Surviving are his wife of Sumter; a son, Joseph Wylie “Jay” Ham, Jr. (Laurie) of Dallas, TX; a daughter, Dr. Melissa Rebecca Ham (Dr. Gene Devora) of Dallas, TX; three grandchildren, Landon Ham, Cameron Ham, and William Devora.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Spain Ham, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday at Bethel United Methodist Church in Oswego with Rev. Jeremy Howell officiating.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. Wednesday at the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home.
