Obituary of Anne Marie Champagne

Anne Marie Champagne entered heaven on October 22, 2017 at 82 years old at National Healthcare Sumter.

Memorial Services will be held at 4 P.M. Friday, October 27, 2017, at Wise Drive Baptist Church with Rev. Dearld Sterling officiating.

The family will receive friends following the memorial service in the Fellowship Hall.

She was born on July 25, 1935 in Waterbury CT to Vincent and Virginia Marano from Monteforte Irpino, Italy. She was married to William Henry Champagne Jr. who passed in 1995.

True to her Italian heritage, Anne loved her family, especially while enjoying a great meal of which there were many. She loved her work in retail which she did for 45 years up to the age of 76 when dementia began to have its effect on her. She was a faithful wife and loving mother of her two sons. She had a faithful love of Jesus. In her last few years she could be found soaking in the South Carolina sunshine.

She is survived by her sister Jane Rapuano, two sons and their spouses William and Anne Champagne III and Mark and Cheryl Champagne and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters Mary Marano, Edith Tommasello and a brother Anthony Marano.
