Obituary of Dorothy Sluss Kirby

Dorothy Sluss Kirby, 59, wife of Michael H. Kirby, died Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Palmetto Health Tuomey. Born in Biloxi, MS, she was a daughter of the late Warren H. Sluss and Evelyn Gladys Stallard Sluss. Mrs. Kirby was a member of Westside Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband; a son, Michael William Kirby and a sister, Bonnie Jones all of Sumter. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Warren G. Sluss and Walter G. Sluss and a daughter, Tristian. Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. Saturday in the Chapel of the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Fraser officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.
