Obituary of Inez Brewer Cooper Thompson

Inez K. Brewer Cooper Thompson, 90, died Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at Palmetto Health Tuomey.

 

Born in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late John Joseph Brewer, Sr. and Addie Mae Hyatt Brewer.

 

Mrs. Thompson was a charter member of Concord Baptist Church.  She was retired from Pioneer Dress Company and also worked at Glenn Manufacturing Company. 

 

She was twice married, first to the late Johnny Cooper and later to the late Murray Thompson.

 

She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.

 

She was preceded in death by a sister, Estelle B. Wilson; two brothers, Johnny James Brewer, Rev. Arthur Fred Brewer and a nephew, Rev. Billy Brewer.

 

Graveside services will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Eugene Mosier officiating.

 

The family would like to thank the staff and caregivers of McElveen Manor and the Hospice Staff at Palmetto Health Tuomey.
