Alice Yvonne Harrelson Griffin, 68, widow of George Griffin, died Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Palmetto Health Tuomey Hospital.

 

Born in Dillon, she was a daughter of the late Rembert Harrelson and Louise Jackson Harrelson.

 

Mrs. Griffin was a member of Green Acres Assembly of God Church.  She was formerly employed at McElveen Manor as a nursing assistant.

 

Surviving are two sons, James A. Mount, III and David J. Griffin; a daughter, Dorian L. Strickland (Dann); a sister, Sandra Mitchum all of Sumter; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

 

Memorial Services will be held at 1 P.M. Monday at Green Acres Assembly of God Church with Rev. Michael Bowman officiating.

 

The family will receive friends from 12 P.M. to 1 P.M. Monday at Green Acres Assembly of God Church.
