Obituary of Frances Ruth Brunson

Frances Ruth Brunson, 81, died Sunday, December 9, 2018 at NHC.  

Born in Sumter County, she was a daughter of the late Jesse W. Brunson, Sr. and Frances Brown Brunson.

Ms. Brunson was a member of Northside Memorial Baptist Church and a retired real estate agent

Surviving is one son, David Eargle and wife Maggie; one brother, Jesse W. Brunson, Jr., all of Sumter; 7 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra Ruth Eargle Collins; one sister, Ada B. Moylan.

Graveside services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday at Brunson Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Holley officiating.

The family will receive friends 5 to 7 PM Tuesday at the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home.  

The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Sumter NHC for their care and devotion to Ruth.
