Phyllis Evans Garrick, 77, died Thursday, January 10, 2019, in Florida.

 

Born March 23, 1941 in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Richard Phillips Evans and Elzada Norris Evans.

 

Surviving are her sister, Sylvia Evans Peek; three daughters, Debra Pringle Buford, Terri Garrick Conner and Christi Elaine Garrick; grandchildren, Payton Conner and Ashley Conner; an aunt, Betty Ray Evans Murrell; stepdaughters, Sherry Wilson and Kathy Mason and their children and grandchildren.

 

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday in the Chapel of the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with Rev. Angela Marshall officiating.

 

The family will receive friends from 1 P.M. to 2 P.M. Saturday at the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home.

 

Burial will be in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.
