Obituary of John David Phillips

John David Phillips, 55, husband of Theresa Ann Phillips, died Monday, April 8, 2019, at Prisma Health Richland Hospital in Columbia.

 

Born in Jamestown, NY, he was a son of Kathleen Phillips and the late Robert Phillips.

 

Mr. Phillips was employed by Enersys.  He was a U. S. Marine Corps veteran.

 

Surviving are his wife and mother of Sumter; two daughters, Jennifer Lynch of Sumter and Nicole Phillips-Stroman (Tybee) of Orangeburg; two brothers, Scotty Phillips and James Phillips both of Sumter; a sister, Gloria Cardone of Sumter; four grandchildren, Sky, Daniel, Christopher and Annabelle.

 

Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. Thursday in the Chapel of the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Stroman or Rev. Theron Smith officiating.

 

Burial will be in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.

 

The family will receive friends from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. Wednesday at the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home.
