Obituary of John H. Lynch

John Herbert Lynch, 67, died Wednesday, February 10, 2016, at Palmetto Health Tuomey. Born in Olanta, he was a son of Mildred McElveen Lynch and the late Joseph Lynch. Mr. Lynch was a retired truck driver. He was a U. S. Navy veteran of Vietnam. Surviving are his mother; a son, Jared Lynch and a sister, JoAnne Waters all of Sumter; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Harry Lynch. Graveside services will be held at 3 P.M. Friday in the Olanta Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Timothy E. Hudson officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 P.M.
