Obituary of Timothy Paul Degen, Sr.

Timothy Paul Degen, Sr., 66, husband of Beverly Weatherly Degen, died Saturday, September 7, 2019, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.

Born in Sacramento, CA, he was a son of Mary Sue Parnell Degen and the late Vincent J. Degen.

Mr. Degen was employed by Bi-Lo Grocers.  He was a graduate of Clemson University and was an avid Clemson fan. 

Surviving are his wife; his mother; a son, Timothy Paul Degen, Jr.; a granddaughter, Leah Catherine Degen; two brothers, Jerry Degen and Philip Degen; two sisters, Teresa Degen and Barbara Brown; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. Wednesday in the Chapel of the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. David Richardson officiating.

Burial will be in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 9 A.M. to 10 A.M. Wednesday at the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home prior to the service.
