My sincerest condolences to the family of Mrs. Sara Jernighan. I've known her since I became best friends with her daughter Peggy, at Coker College, back in the early seventies. Mrs. Jernighan even hosted a bridal shower for me in downtown Charleston, which I'll never forget! In later years, I had the pleasure of being beaten by her at several card games we would get together and play! One thing that always stood out about her was, whatever she undertook, it was always done well. Your Mother was a formidable lady and will be greatly missed!
