Obituary of Philip T. Weatherly, Sr.

Philip T. Weatherly, Sr.,85, husband of Agnes “Mickey” McKenzie Weatherly, died January 9, 2020, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital Born in Sumter, he was a son of the late Eddie C. Weatherly and Rosa B. Smith Weatherly. Mr. Weatherly was a member of Fraser Memorial Presbyterian Church where he served as an Elder. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force and was retired from Pipeline Supply. Surviving are his wife of Sumter; one son, Philip Thomas Weatherly, Jr. (Vicki) of Little River, SC; three daughters, Phyllis Dixon of Sumer; Cindy Rogers (Robert) of Martinez, GA and Stacey Mathis (Wayne) of Manning; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Jeff Weatherly. Funeral service will be held Monday at 11AM in the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Chuck Staggs officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 4 to 6 PM at Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home.
