Dr. Guilliams taught at Campbellsville University for 2 years in the Human Performance department. I had the privilege of having an office in the same building with her and got to know her pretty well. She was a mentor to me during a very taught time in my life and career and was there to offer advice and strength to forge ahead. After leaving employment at CU she kept in touch with me for years, even visiting my home several times. Glenda was a "tiger" when it came to motivating her students and advisees and went out of her way to help them in any way she could to further their education and career goals. I will always remember her as a strong-willed, determined person who "said it like it was" and didn't mince words or worry about being politically correct. I will miss that strong spirit of hers... and will pray for her family and friends.

I got to know Glenda well when she taught in the Human Performance department at Campbellsville University. She would stop by my office in Carter Hall to check on a student and spend alot of time talking in general. Over time, we became friends and visited with each other occasionally. She had a great passion for whatever she decided to do. I was in the midst of writing my doctoral dissertation and she volunteered to read my chapters and give me feedback, which she continued to do even after she moved away. After she moved to SC, she kept in touch and during the last few years, her friend, Judy, has been communicating with us about how Glenda was doing. I will miss her and pray for her family and friends.
